My list includes, but is not limited to, The Shack, Eclipse, New Moon, My Sister's Keeper, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Into Thin Air, War of Necessity/War of Choice: A Memoir of Two Iraq Wars, The Girls from Ames, and Life of Pi. I could go on and on!! For the record, it really bothers me that I can not underline titles on the blog, but I suppose I will survive!
I'm sure I will add more books to my list in the comments section as I remember them all : ) Please share your list!

ReplyDeleteHello Fellow Readers,
ReplyDeleteI went to the Dyersville library last night and brought home an armful of books. The book I am starting my summer read with is "Shoot the Moon" by Billie Letts. I also brought home "A Mercy" by Toni Morrison, and "The Absence of Nectar" by Kathy Hepinstall (and a few others).
I am always looking for book recommendations!
Happy reading, Mrs. Mahoney
I am just checking to see how the book club is going. I think this is a really cool idea. I have been reading a lot of books for my Master's classes that I barely have anytime to read on my own. I am reading 19 minutes when I find the free time. I wish I will be able to read more maybe in a few weeks I will:)
ReplyDeleteI hope everyone is enjoying the reading!

Hello!
ReplyDeleteI just received a book as a gift a few days ago. Wow, this is a powerful book that I can't put down - The True Story of Hansel and Gretel a novel of war and survival" by Louise Murphy. It is about Nazi Germany and has some disturbing parts. Another book I read this summer and really liked was "Shoot the Moon" by Billie Letts
I am looking for a recommendation for a funny book....any ideas?
Hope everyone is enjoying their summer! Mrs. Mahoney
